Some of my favorite builds from over the years.

One thing I love about this hobby is building themey enclosures for their inhabitants to call home. Like for example the above enclosure was built for my Solomon Island Ground Boa that was based on the Skull Islands in the Solomon Islands, because how could I not right? I have a list of enclosures and themes I want to build for various critters but just need to carve out some time to do it all. All enclosures are built with materials that have been tried and tested to be safe for all critters and I even use a food safe sealant overtop of all the details so it's even safe for amphibians. Finding food safe materials is the hardest part of building these enclosures, but the most expensive part is the glass enclosures themselves since they typically run from $170-$700 depending on the size. I used to bring pre-built, move-in-ready enclosures to expos and I hope to return to that soon once life settles down a bit and I have more time.

Coastline Canopy creates naturalistic landscapes & complete habitats for certain species of reptiles & amphibians. My goal is to spread awareness about the importance of environmental enrichment for our often misunderstood as "simple minded" ectothermic friends and how much it benefits their quality of life and even physical health. Coastline Canopy also breeds select species of reptiles and amphibians on a small scale.  Located in British Columbia, Canada.
